"True Thrush" is from Dan Deacon's new album, America, out on Domino August 27 (Rest of the world) / 28 (North America). Find out more information at http://www.dominorecordco.com/america Buy the album on iTunes: http://www.smarturl.it/dandeaconamerica CD/Limited Edition LP/Cassette: http://www.dominorecordco.com/america Directed by Ben O'Brien and Dan Deacon Produced by Dan Deacon and Ben O'Brien (http://www.showbeast.net http://www.benobrien.net) The video co-directed by Ben O'Brien and Dan Deacon is based on a drawing game popular in the Baltimore art collective Wham City, which is in turn based on the game "telephone." For the video, Dan and Ben filmed a simple 13-second scene. That scene was then shown to the next team. After seeing the video that team had 1 hour to recreate it -- characters, props, set, costumes, and actions -- as close to exactly as possible from only their memory. The cast is made up of members of Wham City, Dan Deacon Ensemble, Ed Schrader's Music Beat, Future Islands, Red Room Collective, Copycat Theater, Effervescent Dance Collective, Showbeast, Annex Theater, Nuclear Power Pants, FlucT, BXDC, Bloody Panda, Foot Talk, Important Comics, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and various icons of the legendary Baltimore Arts Community. U-11 FOOTBALL TALENT from Hammarby IF scores 4 goal in the final in the worlds biggest youth cup! B11: KFV Segeberg 1 (GER) -- IF FF Hammarby 1 (SWE) 2-4 (1-2) Segeberg is one of the most scoring teams in Gothia Cup with 63 goals in 7 games. They played Markham School, from Peru, in the semifinal and made an extraordinary comeback turning 0-3 to 4-3 in the last seven minutes of the game. Hammarby also scores many goals and has made 48 goals in 8 games. They beat Helsingborg with 3-2 in the semifinal where the last minutes of the game were a thriller after a late reducing but the equalizer didn't come. The first half started in a high tempo were the offensive spirit shone through. Both teams had opportunities but neither managed to score. Hammarby got the initiative but it was Segeberg who scored the first goal after a counter attack. Jann-Fiete Arp showed individual skill before he finished by the far post. Short after Hammarby replied and equalized when Sinatra Antwi scored through the bar. Antwi showed that he got the taste for goal and made his second after a great reception that got past the defender and could finish by the post. An even half with some advantage from Hammarby ended 2-1. In the second half Segeberg started best and after seven minutes Jann-Fiete Arp equalized with a repeat of his first goal. Segeberg then continued to be the better team but Hammarby came back and could retake the lead in the 38th minute, once again by Sinatra Antwi. Segeberg tried to push forward but Hammarby's defence played well and with only two minutes left Sinatra Antwi scored his fourth goal after a beautiful pass from William Granberg n the right flank. It was an even match between two skilled teams but Hammarby, through Sinatra Antwi, was more clinical. Goalscorers: 1-0: Jann-Fiete Arp, #23 1-1: Sinatra Antwi, #22 1-2: Sinatra Antwi, #22 2-2: Jann-Fiete Arp, #23 2-3: Sinatra Antwi, #22 2-4: Sinatra Antwi, #22 Most valueable player: Sinatra Antwi, #22

DOWNLOAD SONG http://bit.ly/9os7DL Flashdance What a Feeling Irene Cara © 1983 Unidisc Music Group Become a Fan On Facebook CLICK http://bit.ly/aybWug Follow on Twitter! http://twitter.com/UnidiscMusic Jennifer Beals Irene Cara is best known as a singer of movie themes, though she worked as an actress since childhood. Raised in New York City, she appeared on Broadway in 1967 in the musical Maggie Flynn at age eight and can be heard on the cast album for the show The Me Nobody Knows. From the age of 16, she was turning up on television and in films, including a part in the TV mini-series Roots 2 in 1979. In 1980, she was catapulted into stardom and a singing career by her appearance in the film Fame, for which she sang the title song, an Oscar-winning Top Ten hit. Also from the film was her Top 40 hit "Out Here on My Own." In 1983, she topped the charts with "Flashdance...What a Feelin'" from the movie Flashdance, a song she co-wrote that won another Oscar, and Cara won a couple of Grammys for her contributions to the soundtrack. Her What a Feelin' album included the hits "Why Me?" and "Breakdance," and she also made the Top 40 with a third movie theme, "The Dream (Hold on to Your Dream)," from DC Cab. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide Jennifer Beals stars as Alex Owens, a Pittsburgh steel-mill welder by day, and bar dancer by night. Harboring dreams of a career in ballet, she is given financial support in this endeavor by her boss Nick Hurley (Michael Nouri) and moral support by demanding but big-hearted instructor Hanna Long (Lilia Skala). The film's signature scene is, of course, Alex's water-drenched dance audition, largely performed in long shot by her dance double Marine Jahan. Essentially an old-fashioned backstage yarn, Flashdance was given a contemporary spin by its pulsating, musical score featuring the Oscar-winning Best Song, Flashdance...What a Feeling, (music by Giorgio Moroder, lyrics by Keith Forsey and Irene Cara).
