Don't Panic - The Truth About Population Using state-of-the-art 3D graphics and the timing of a stand-up comedian, world-famous statistician Professor Hans Rosling presents a spectacular portrait of our rapidly changing world. With seven billion people already on our planet, we often look to the future with dread, but Rosling's message is surprisingly upbeat. Almost unnoticed, we have actually begun to conquer the problems of rapid population growth and extreme poverty. Across the world, even in countries like Bangladesh, families of just two children are now the norm - meaning that within a few generations, the population explosion will be over. A smaller proportion of people now live in extreme poverty than ever before in human history and the United Nations has set a target of eradicating it altogether within a few decades. In this as-live studio event, Rosling presents a statistical tour-de-force, including his 'ignorance survey', which demonstrates how British university graduates would be outperformed by chimpanzees in a test of knowledge about developing countries.

Rider hits cyclists coming out of a turn on Mulholland Hwy. Cyclists didn't appear to have serious injuries. Note about cyclists and riders co-existing on this famous 2 mile stretch of road. Even though bicycles are up here in increasing numbers, this is the first time a bicycle has been hit by a motorcycle In the four years I've been up here. Motorcycle riders of all skill levels come up here to ride. The rider was not speeding & riding fine until he hit his foot and stood the bike up causing the bike to go wide. He then target fixated on the cyclist. . Here is a similar crash - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGAXsv2SL0c There are many more just like it. It is a very common type of crash on this turn. Just usually no one is there and the rider falls alone. It is very unfortunate, and a rare case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. We wish the cyclists a speedy recovery. Great Link for Riders - Why Do We Panic in a Turn - http://www.svrider.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187025 Update on Cyclist from Comments -" This was my friend visiting from England who was struck first. (I was further back on the hill when the accident happened and am one of the guys who comes in the picture to his assistance). He's doing ok today, was discharged from the hospital yesterday with no broken bones. Miraculously.." Google Maps Link - http://goo.gl/9X09c

Almost every popsong that is created in todays music business has two intentions: Make money and make the music creators and the ones that plays the music bigger and more famous. Therefore they use a chord progression which all of us already heard since we were babies. The I-V-vi-IV progression is used in so many songs that I guess no one can count them all... Of course there can be som minor or major changes with the chords but the sound is practically the same. This was recorded in Melbourne 2009 on a Comedy Festival. The chords used are: E B C# A Just to clarify that The Australian Jack Black is Here! Cristiano Ronaldo Vs Philadelphia Union Away 2011-07-23 Philadelphia Union 1-2 Real Madrid. Ozil and Callejón leave their mark Gol de Özil Goal de Özil Gol de Callejón Goal de Callejón Real Madrid finished their United States tour with another win (1-2), this time against Philadelphia Union. The Merengues played in Philadelphia against the local team and added a third victory in three games. Cristiano Ronaldo played only in the 2nd half, but couldn't score in this match. CR7 finishes the first round of this pre-season already having remarkable stats, as he scored 4 goals out of 3 matches. Real Madrid played their last match in the United States, as well as they finished their participation in the World Football Challenge. José Mourinho man defeated Philadelphia Union by 1-2 and didn't got much trouble to control and dominate the game. The goals arrived early, as Callejón (2th minute) and Mesut Ozil (11th minute) gave Real Madrid the lead. Later on, with Cristiano Ronaldo already on the field, Philadelphia scored their only goal by M. Farfán, from a truly great lob, leaving no chances to Real Madrid's goalkeeper. The American side proved to be several levels behind Real Madrid and the first half was prone to plenty of mistakes by Philadelphia's defense. From those errors, Real Madrid not only capitalized but also showed some good football on the field. José Mourinho rotated the team intensively, in order to prevent players to get over-fatigued after a first week of very hard work and physical demanding. Right on the second half, José Mourinho started by trying some new things, by putting Pepe and Fábio Coentrão side-by-side on the midfield. That is, a left-back and a center defender assuming the role in a neuralgic position on the field. They are both very versatile, but I still think Real Madrid won't win much from them, by placing these players as organizers. Anyway, this is just a "fallback" solution, since Nuri Sahin (who is still injured for a couple more weeks) is expected to have an important role throughout the season, as well as Khedira who remains unavailable to help his team. Cristiano Ronaldo didn't score another hat-trick last night, but at least he didn't stop himself from trying. After joining the team just after the break, CR7 created two chances for scoring around the 57th and 63th minute, but unfortunately he couldn't add another goal to his tally this time. Close to the end of the game (86th minute), Ronaldo had the chance to try his world famous free kick, but his shot got stopped by a 19 years old Philadelphia's Union goalkeeper and the game would simply rush to its end after that. Real Madrid line-up against Philadelphia Union: Iker Casillas; Arbeloa, Varane, Ricardo Carvalho and Casado; Granero and Xabi Alonso; Callejón, Özil and Jese; Karim Benzema After playing their last match in the United States, Real Madrid will now go up against Hertha Berlin. The match will be played in Berlin, on the 27th of July at 6PM (local time). José Mourinho will probably play with a strong team on the line-up, meaning that Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to start the game in the first eleven.

"Funny Little World" Lyrics: Suddenly I'm famous, and people know my name. I've got a thousand girls just waiting, and therefore it's a shame that my heart has been captured by your funny little smile. And finally I'm happy, if only for a while. People call me stupid, for treating you like a queen. But I don't even worry, 'cause you're my unforeseen And I hope that you'll be with me, if only in my dreams. But here you are next to me, and you're glad, or so it seems. And I don't know for shure where this is going. Still I hope for more, and more. 'Cause who would know that you would treat me like a boy, and I treat you like a girl, in this funny little world. Don't promise me for ever, just love me day by day. No one knows the future, we're young, but that's OK. 'Cause you'll allways be a part of me, whatever life will bring. And people have to bear with you, this silly song i sing. Your boyfriends might be angry, my girlfriends might be blue. But no one can deny it, from now on I love you. I have to say it's new to me, this feeling in my heart. Guess i've been kind of lonely, and you've been kind of smart. And I don't know for shure where this is going. Still I hope for more, and more. 'Cause who would know that you would treat me like a boy, and I treat you like a girl, in this funny little world. And I don't know for shure where this is going. Still I hope for more, and more. 'Cause who would know that you would treat me like a boy, and I treat you like a girl, in this funny little world. This funny little world.
